Popo's Mahjong

Chang family mahjong brought from the tabletop to a free online format built for all players.

Popo’s Mahjong hides the confusing processes and technicalities of traditional mahjong in the background so that the player can focus on what matters: winning.

The game is built to be both an intuitive online platform for traditional players and a good introductory way to learn traditional mahjong for new players

Gameplay:

Played like Gin Rummy, each player uses their hand to form combinations of three or more cards. The goal is to acquire as many points as possible by the end of the game.

Over the course of 16 rounds (more or less), players make rare hands, steal from each other, and compete for points in a friendly (or not so friendly) competition.
